The Vlinx™ family of Serial Ethernet Servers transparently connects, configures, and communicates with serial devices over Ethernet using a single IP address. Available in 1, 2 and 4 port versions. Each model uses DB9 male serial connectors and supports RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485. Desktop, panel and DIN-mountable — Vlinx offers outstanding flexibility and value for industrial and commercial applications.

Heartbeat ensures reliable communications In
case of a power failure or loss of the Ethernet connection, the Vlinx
Serial Server automatically reconnects the TCP data connection.
Intuitive management software Vlinx
software allows simple access to the Serial Server menu settings.
Telnet and Console mode may also be used to configure the server.
Once
Vlinx is connected to the LAN, just open the B&B management
software and it will instantly search the LAN and display the Serial
Ethernet Servers found.
